Founding of Ajax Bolt and Screw Co.
1921
Gustave Maertens purchased controlling interest in Ajax Bolt and Screw.
1951
Rene DeSeranno founded Cold Heading Company
1974
Ajax Bolt and Screw became Ajax Metal Processing
1993
Cold Heading Company’s corporate headquarters relocated to Warren, Michigan
1994
• Derek Stevens became Chief Executive Officer
• Direct Tool established for Tooling Support for Manufacturing
1996
Cold Heading started Indiana manufacturing divisions
1999
Cold Heading acquired GT Specialty Fasteners
2008
Direct Tool acquired Wolverine Carbide and Die Company and became Wolverine Carbide and Tool
2010
Cold Heading acquired the automotive fastener divisions of SPS Technologies
2017
Cold Heading doubled Indiana manufacturing facility
2021
Cold Heading opened the Indiana Technical and Administration Center in Fremont, IN.
